03-26-1962 284 March 26, 1962 The Board of Trustees of the Thomas Brapigan Remorial 1'ibrary met at 4:45 P.M. on MondapM, March 26th, 1962, in the Librarian's Office. ´┐Żbmberg present were rs. Roach, ids. Swartz, Mr. Taylor Mr. Shannon, besides the Librarian and Secretary of the Board, Miss Caffey, 1r. Shannon presided. The reading of the minutes of the last meeting was waived. Mr. Taylor reported on the progress of the work being undertaken on the Branigan property. The Allied Construction Company had not repaired the roof on the Library Annex; the painting of the interior of the Annex is about 1/2 completed but cannot be finpshed until the new outside door is installed, 21t. Taylor has asked for bids for a fence to be installed in front of the Court Street house. He reported that there was a crack in the ceiling in one of the rooms in the Las Cruces Avenue house which have to be repaired. Bolding doors of some kind should be installed in the doorway of the down stairs east front room. Metal sheeting needs to be installed around the coolers in the Las Cruces Avenue house, mrs. Swartz made a motion that Mr. Baylor be authorized to have metal sheeting placed around the coolers in the Las Cruces Avenue House, I're, Roach seconded. Motion carried, - Miss Caffey reported that the City had reinstalled the Library flagpole. Metal Venetian blinds for the work room had been installed by the Las Cruces Furniture Co. at a cost of 423.09. As there was no further business, meeting adjoumied. Helen P. Caffey Secretary
