06-07-17 DRCI DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE (DRC) 2 3 Following are the minutes from the City of Las Cruces Development Review Committee 4 Meeting held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall, Room 1158, 700 North 5 Main Street, Las Cruces, New Mexico. 6 7 DRC PRESENT: Katherine Harrison -Rogers, Community Development 8 Mark Dubbin, Fire Department 9 Rocio Dominguez, Engineering Services -CD 10 Meei Montoya, Utilities 11 Tom Murphy, MVMPO 12 13 STAFF PRESENT: Sara Gonzales, Community Development 14 Becky Baum, Recording Secretary, RC Creations, LLC 15 16 OTHER PRESENT: John Moscato 17 Chad Sells 18 Orlando Hernandez 19 20 I. CALL TO ORDER (9:02 a.m.) 21 22 H-Rogers: All right we'll go ahead and call this June 7th DRC to order. According to 23 our clock it's 9:00 but I believe it's 9:02 now, according to everybody else's 24 clock. 25 26 If. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - May 24, 2017 27 28 H-Rogers: So with that, approval of minutes. Were there any modifications to the 29 May 24, 2017 minutes? No. All right. NEW BUSINESS 1. Case 71349: Final Site Plan Metro Verde South Phase 3A & 3B • A request for approval of a final site plan known as Metro Verde South Phase 3A & 313 located within the Metro Verde South Planned Unit Development (PUD). • The proposed final site plan proposes 104-single-family residential lost and 2-tracts that will be dedicated to the City of Las Cruces and utilized for drainage, open space and/or a park. The proposed final site plan shall be required to follow all requirements of the Metro Verde South PUD Concept Plan. • The subdivision encompasses 26.8 +/- acres, is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) and is located on the northeast corner of Engler Road and Red Hawk Golf Road. • Submitted by Sierra Norte Development Inc., property owners. H-Rogers: Item number three, we have some new business, specifically Case 71349, which is a Final Site Plan for Metro Verde South Phase 3A & 313. With that I will give it over to Sara, project planner for a description of what is going on. Gonzales: Okay, once again this is a request to approve the final site plan for Metro Verde South Phase 3A & 313. This is located within the Metro Verde South Planned Unit Development concept plan. The proposal is for a 104 lot single-family residential subdivision. There are two tracts being dedicated to the City; one is for a park in the size of 0.62 acres. The second tract is for a 1.29 drainage and open space that is actually separating the two phases. The subdivision is approximately 26.8 acres. It is part of the Planned Unit Development and is also located on the northeast corner of Engler Road and Red Hawk Golf Road. That's about it. H-Rogers: All right. I'll go ahead and go around the room to see if staff has any other comments. Utilities. Montoya: We have no issues. H-Rogers: All right. MPO. Murphy: No comments. H-Rogers: All right. Fire. Anything you'd 5 like to add or not? 6 7 Sells: No ma'am. 8 9 H-Rogers: No. All right. Too easy. And Planning was there anything else that was 10 of any concern or is this completely complaint with the plan? 11 12 Gonzales: No this is completely in compliance with the concept plan. 13 14 H-Rogers: All right. Well do I have a motion for approval? 15 16 Murphy: Move approval. 17 18 H-Rogers: All right. Is there a second? 19 20 Dubbin: Second. 21 22 H-Rogers: All those in favor. 23 24 MOTION PASSES UNANIMOUSLY. 25 26 H-Rogers: Any opposed? It appears that it passed unanimously. 27 28 IV.
